EFI is a web application; nothing needs to be installed on your computer. Make sure your environment meets the requirements below before your first login.
Network access
Your network must allow HTTPS (port 443) connections to the following domains. If your institution uses a proxy or web filter, ask your IT department to allow them:
- efi.elucidate.co: the EFI platform
- login.elucidate.co: the login and 2-step verification pages
- api.elucidate.co: the EFI application interface used by the platform in the background
- support.elucidate.co: this support portal
Emails from EFI (welcome emails, password resets, notifications) are sent from the elucidate.co domain. Add it to your safe-sender list if such emails end up in a spam folder.
Browser
Use an up-to-date version of one of the following desktop browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple Safari
We recommend keeping your browser on its current release; the two most recent major versions are supported. JavaScript and cookies must be enabled, and the browser must allow file uploads for the Data submission section.
Screen
EFI is designed for desktop screens. A resolution of at least 1366 × 768 pixels is recommended; dashboards and reports are easier to read on larger screens.
2-step verification
If 2-step verification is enabled for your account you need either a smartphone with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) or a phone that can receive SMS or voice calls. See 2-step verification with an authenticator app and 2-step verification via SMS or voice call.
