The User Profile page shows your account details, permissions, and institution information in one place. Access it by clicking your name or avatar in the top-right corner of any page.

Profile overview

Your Account

The left card displays your name, email, role (Admin or Custom User), and the permissions granted to your account. Permissions are set by your institution's administrator and determine which sections of EFI you can access.

User info card

If you are not an Admin, you'll also see the name of your institutional administrator listed here for reference.

API Token

Your API token enables programmatic access to EFI's API. Use the copy button next to the token to copy it to your clipboard. The toggle below the token lets you enable or disable API access — when disabled, any API calls using this token will be rejected. This is useful if you need to temporarily revoke access without regenerating a new token.

Changing Your Password

Click Change password at the bottom of the user info card. EFI sends a password reset email to your registered address — follow the link in that email to set a new password. You cannot change your password directly within the app.

Institution Profile

The right side of the page shows your institution's details as registered with EFI, including identifiers (LEI, BIC), legal form, and registered address. This information comes from your institution's registration data.

Institution details and files

Institution Files

The Institution Files section lists documents associated with your institution, grouped by type (e.g., Transactions, Customer Data). From here you can:

  • Upload new files to attach supporting documentation
  • Find Files to search through existing uploads
  • Delete individual files using the trash icon

The Submit Data section below the files prompts you to upload data for financial crime risk assessment if your institution hasn't submitted data yet. Clicking Submit Data takes you to the Data submission page.

Managing Users

Admins see an All Users section with a link to User management, where you can invite new users, assign roles, and manage access to your institution's EFI account.
