My Signals is your working list of compliance signals — adverse media findings, website changes, transaction flags, and other items that need review. Use it to triage new signals, assign them to team members, merge duplicates, and track progress across your portfolio.

Signals list

Default View

By default, the page shows only your own signals and excludes completed ones. This keeps your personal queue focused on active work. To see all signals across the team, uncheck Only show my signals in the filters panel. To include closed signals, uncheck Exclude completed signals.

The header shows the total count of open signals and how many have been closed.

Filtering Signals

Click Show Filters to open the filters panel. Filters let you narrow the list by institution, title, description, status, closure reason, assigned user, category, label, date range, and more.

Filters panel

The Category filter is a multi-select list — click multiple categories to include signals from any of them. Category Confirmed filters by whether the AI-suggested category has been confirmed by a reviewer.

The Created After and Created Before date fields let you scope the list to a specific time window — useful for investigating a batch of findings that arrived together.

Click Apply Filters to update the list, or Clear Filters to reset everything. The Reset filters button in the toolbar does the same.

Assigning Signals

Select one or more signals using the checkboxes, then use the Assign users... dropdown in the toolbar to pick a team member. Click Assign to save.

Selection toolbar with merge and assign

For a quick shortcut, click assign yourself to take ownership of all selected signals in one click — no dropdown needed.

Merging Signals

When two or more signals cover the same underlying issue (e.g., multiple news articles about the same event), select them and click Merge Signals. If the selected signals have different categories, you'll be asked to choose which category the merged signal should keep.

Merging consolidates the articles and comments from all selected signals into one, reducing noise in your queue.

Exporting Signals

Click Export to download the current signal list. A modal lets you choose which columns to include in the export file.

Signal Detail

Click any signal's title or sequence number to open its full detail view, where you can read linked articles, add comments, change the status, and update the category. Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) while clicking to open the detail in a new tab.

The Owner column shows which entity (institution) the signal relates to. The magnifying glass icon next to each row links to the entity's detail page for quick context.

Statuses

Signals move through several statuses as they are triaged: Open for new findings, At risk when flagged for attention, Inquired when under active investigation, and Overdue when past their review deadline. Completed signals are hidden by default but can be shown via the filters.
