Screening Alerts shows tickets generated from transaction screening — each alert represents a transaction that triggered a match against sanctions lists, PEP databases, or other watchlists during the screening process. Use this page to review, triage, and resolve screening hits as part of your compliance workflow.
Navigate to Case Management > Transaction Screening Tickets to access this page.

Reviewing Alerts
Each alert is a ticket tied to a specific screened transaction. The title typically includes the transaction identifier so you can trace it back to the original screening request. Alerts that are still open show a dash in the Status column — once reviewed, they'll show Open or Closed.
Click the magnifying glass icon or the row itself to open the full ticket detail view, where you can add comments, change the status, assign the alert, and review the matched screening data.
By default, completed signals are excluded from the list so you focus on alerts that still need attention. To see closed alerts as well, open the filters and uncheck Exclude completed signals.
Filtering Alerts
Click Show Filters to open the filter panel with options to narrow down your alerts.

Useful filters for screening workflows:
| Filter | When to use |
|---|---|
| Status | Switch between Open, Closed, or All to focus on active work or review resolved alerts |
| Closure Reason | Find alerts closed for a specific reason (e.g., False Positive, No Action Required). Use "Exclude Automatically Closed" to see only manually resolved alerts |
| Assigned To | Filter to a specific team member's workload, or select "Unassigned" to find alerts that need an owner |
| Category | Filter by financial crime category (e.g., Money Laundering, Terrorist Related, Denied Entity) to focus on specific risk types |
| Created After / Before | Narrow to a date range — useful for reviewing a specific screening batch |
| Only show my signals | Quick toggle to see only alerts assigned to you |
Bulk Actions
Select two or more alerts using the checkboxes to reveal bulk action controls.

Merge Signals combines selected alerts into a single ticket — useful when multiple screening hits relate to the same underlying case. If the selected alerts have different categories, EFI prompts you to choose which category to apply to the merged ticket.
Assign lets you assign all selected alerts to a team member at once using the user dropdown. The assign yourself shortcut assigns them to your own account without needing to search for your name.
Exporting Data
Click Export to download alert data as CSV or Excel. The export respects your current filters — if you've filtered to a specific status or date range, only those records are exported.

You can choose which columns to include and limit the number of records. The export includes fields not visible in the table view, such as Closure Reason, Created By, Owner, and Article Count.
