The Data submission page is where you upload compliance data files to EFI for processing. EFI uses this data to generate risk assessments, run transaction screening, and build your institution's risk profile. Navigate here from Data submission in the top navigation bar.
Uploading files
The page organizes uploads into four categories, each accepting specific file formats:
| Category | Accepted formats | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Transactions | CSV, XLSX | Transaction data for screening and risk analysis |
| Accounts Holder | CSV, XLSX | Account holder information for KYC and due diligence |
| Sanctions Screening | CSV, XLSX | Data for sanctions list matching |
| Wolfsberg's CBDDQ & other Policies | CSV, PDF, XLSX | Correspondent Banking Due Diligence Questionnaire and compliance policies |
Each category provides a Sample file you can download as a formatting reference, and a Documentation link explaining the required data fields and structure. Review the sample before preparing your first upload to ensure your files match the expected schema.
Upload files by clicking the upload area or dragging files onto it. Before the upload starts, a Data Submission Attestation window asks you to confirm the accuracy and completeness of the data and that it has not been manipulated. Tick the confirmation box to enable Upload File. Closing the window without confirming cancels the upload and discards the file.
After uploading, each file shows a validation status. Only validated files can be submitted. Files that have been uploaded but not yet submitted appear under their category with a green Completed badge; the badge means the upload finished, not that the file has been sent for processing. Use the trash icon next to a file to remove it before submitting.
Submitting data
Once your files are uploaded and validated, click Submit all to send everything to EFI for processing. The submission deadline for the previous month's data is the 10th of the current month.
If you haven't uploaded files for every category, EFI checks whether previously submitted files can be reused. You'll be prompted to confirm which prior files to carry forward, so you don't need to re-upload unchanged data each month.
When the submission goes through, a "Files successfully submitted" message appears with a view here link that switches you to the Submitted files tab.
Do not navigate away from the page while files are uploading — you'll see a warning if you try to leave mid-upload.
Reviewing submitted files
Switch to the Submitted files tab to see a history of all files you've sent to EFI. The table shows when each file was uploaded and when it was formally submitted for processing. A dash in the Submitted column means the file was uploaded but not yet submitted.
Files shared by Elucidate
The Shared from Elucidate tab lists files that Elucidate has sent to your institution, such as deliverables or supporting material. Each entry shows an Expires date and a Download button. Files shared as web pages open in a viewer inside EFI instead of downloading.
Once a file passes its expiry date it moves to a separate Expired list below the main table and can no longer be downloaded. Save anything you need locally before it expires; the list itself only appears when at least one shared file has expired.
